6th Christmas Party and Graduation

Congratulations Class of 2011.
Please welcome Tan Ying Yin, Tam Zhao Pei, Silver Tan Ying, Caleb Goh, Chia Zoe and Charmaine Ang.
On 12th December was the celebration for my Pre-School 3 as they moved on to the next phase of their student life.
Well done to all of you.
I am proud of how all of you have developed, grown and become little adults.
You have learnt your numbers, languages, shapes and words. You made friends. You have learnt about thinking minds, listening ears and seeing eyes. You did crafts, painting, drawing, cutting and scrapbooking. You have learnt to make use of all available resources for your artwork. Be creative. Be yourself.
You have also learnt to practise good hygiene, eating properly, the importance of being a good friend, to save mother earth and to respect the elderly. After all life is not just about learning to read and write or to excel academically, but more so is love and friendship.
Good luck to all of you. I know you will love your new school. You are ready to go there and show just how great you are. Well done again !

A big thank you for my dear parents too. Thank you for all of you who willingly gave up their weekends to attend our parents day, family day, halloween party as well as todays' party. I was amazed at your creativity shown in making lantern and decorating easter eggs. I am also over whelmed by your positive participation in bringing the recycle items monthly.

Last but not least, a big thank you to my outstanding staffs. Enjoy.

St. Patrick's Day

In Malaysia, we do not celebrate St. Patrick's day but I think it is always an advantage for the children to learn about others cultures and festival. I've mounted photos of shamrock, St. Patrick and leprechaun, with short sentences, and had it laminated. I had it then pasted on the wall ( eye level) for the children to see and read. This way children not only able to relate based on the stories that we told them but also to improve their words vocabulary.  We decorated the bulletin board with shamrock, rainbow and a pot of gold with the labels. We had the children's foot print on the wall and labelled it "leprechaun's footprint". We also made leprechaun from a paper plate. Happy St. Patty's day to all.
All green for St. Patrick's Day
